Honor our veterans during a Soldier Ride

Posted
and last updated
The Wounded Warrior Soldier Ride is coming to Kansas City this weekend.

For many participants, this event will be the first time out of their homes, out of isolation and engaging with their others in the community since returning from active duty.

Wounded veterans will bicycle more than 30 miles around Kansas City, giving neighbors the chance to stay active, while recapturing a spirit of friendship they enjoyed during their military service alongside their brothers- and sisters-in-arms.

Neighbors are encouraged to make signs to support our veterans along the routes.
