A man was shot in the leg during an armed robbery in Kansas City, Missouri early Sunday morning, police said.
The victim was reportedly walking near Main Street and Concord Avenue, south of the Country Club Plaza, when two men approached him just before 2:30 a.m.
At least one of the suspects pulled out a gun and robbed the victim, according to police. The suspect then opened fire and shot the man, before taking off.
The victim was hospitalized, but is expected to survive.
Officers have not made any arrests at this time.
