On the heels of releasing the award-winning documentary "Making a Murderer," Netflix is taking a deeper dive into the world of documentaries.
Netflix has unveiled plans to launch four new documentaries headlined by a look into the the story of Amanda Knox, an American student who was charged and convicted of murder in Italy but later had her conviction overturned.
The documentary simply titled "Amanda Knox" will launch Sept. 30 and is directed by Rod Blackhurst and Brian McGinn.
Netflix also plans to launch "The White Helmets" on September 16, "Into the Inferno" on October 28 and "The Ivory Game" on November 4.
"The White Helmets" will look at three volunteer rescue workers trying to help in Syria while the country is in the middle of civil war.
"Into the Inferno" dives into some of the world's most magnificent volcanoes and the relationships locals have with nature's furnace.
"The Ivory Game" looks at the dark world of ivory trafficking.
