A magnitude 4.1 earthquake centered near Dover, Delaware shook the East Coast on Thursday, and was felt all the way from New York to Washington, DC, according to the USGS.

The earthquake previous registered as a magnitude 4.4.

It is one of the strongest earthquakes on the East Coast since a magnitude 5.8 earthquake was centered in Virginia in August 2011. That earthquake caused major government facilities to evacuate, and also caused damage to the Washington Monument.

Among the areas that reported shaking on Thursday included New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington DC.

There have been no reports of damage or casualties, and it appears most of the shaking was relatively minor.
