BOSTON (AP) — Parts of the northeastern U.S. are buried in snow amid a fierce winter storm.
The Weather Channel reports that parts of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island received about 2 feet of snow on Saturday.
The nor'easter also produced winds surpassing 70 mph and caused coastal flooding in Massachusetts. Nearly 100,000 customers in the state without power.

Delta, JetBlue and United Airlines have issued travel waivers to passengers affected by the East Coast storm.
The National Weather Service says daily snowfall records were broken in Philadelphia, which recorded 5.8 inches of snow and in New York's Central Park, which saw 7.3 inches of snow on Saturday.
