GALLERY: Bannister Federal Complex was formerly Kansas City Speedway

Nearly 100 years ago, the Bannister Federal Complex was home to the Kansas City Speedway. These photos from the Jackson County Historical Society show the wooden track, built in 1922, that hosted racing for just two years.
