KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A campaign flyer for a Republican candidate in the Kansas governor’s race promises an event with Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.
The flyer, e-mailed Friday to supporters of Kansas Gov. Jeff Coyler, said Reid would be at a campaign fundraising event on Wednesday, June 6, in Mission Hills, Kan.
Reid is also scheduled to appear at an event for Colyer on Monday, June 4, in Wichita.
Coyler, who became governor when former Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback took a position in the Trump administration, is seeking the Republican nomination for governor in this fall’s primaries.
Tickets for the June 6 event range from $500 for one ticket to the reception up to $4,000 for four tickets to a VIP portion of the reception and a photo opportunity.
