Former President Bill Clinton was expected to speak at a presidential campaign event for Hillary Clinton on Tuesday. The event was canceled after his plane could not land due to weather, U.S. Congressman Emanuel Cleaver told the crowd.
The former Kansas City mayor was joined by current mayor, Sly James.

"To build on the successes that we've had over the last eight years in the Obama administration and to keep the momentum that we started over the last eight years moving forward, then there is only on thing to do, there is only one way to act, there is only one vote to cast, and that is for Hillary Clinton," said James.
The event was held at Carpenter's Training Facility located at 8955 E. 38th Terrace. More than 500 people filled the building.
"A lot of minorities are and young people are for Bernie, so to have Bill come and help her would have been really good," said Hillary Clinton supporter Barbara Anne Washington.
Clinton's trip Kansas City was ahead of the Show Me State's primaries on March 15.
