The second of four defendants in a gun shop murder case pleaded guilty Thursday in Johnson County District Court.

Hakeem Malik, 20, of Kansas City, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated robbery and one county of aggravated battery/great harm.

Prosecutors accused Malik and three other men in a botched robbery on January 9, 2015, at She's A Pistol gun shop in Shawnee.

Court documents revealed one defendant, DeAnthony Wiley, went into the store and talked with Becky Bieker, who co-owned the store with her husband, Jon.

Three more men, including Malik, came into the store. Wiley and Londro Patterson pulled guns and pointed them at Becky Biecker, according to court documents.

Nicquan Midgyett punched Becky Bieker in the nose and her husband Jon exchanged gunfire with at least one of the robbers.

Gunfire killed Jon Bieker and wounded three of the suspects.

A jury found Londro Patterson guilty of murder, robbery and other charges last week.

The other two defendants await trial.
