Argument leads to stabbing Monday night in KCK

KANSAS CITY, Mo. —  A man who was stabbed Monday night in Kansas City, Kansas, died two days later from his wounds.

KCK police identified the victim as Robert Tichenor, 32, of Kansas City, Kansas, on Wednesday.

The stabbing occurred after an argument around 8:45 p.m. in the 2200 block of Birch Drive at the Silver City Apartments, according to KCK police.

Two suspects fled the scene and none of the parties involved lived at the apartment complex.

The incident is now a homicide investigation and is being investigated by the KCK Police Department's Major Case Unit.
