Homicide detectives are searching for clues after a body was discovered Tuesday night in a motel room.
Police said the incident occurred at the Oak Tree Inn at 501 Southwest Boulevard.
Authorities said they located a deceased Hispanic female with visible marks on her, but it's not known if a weapon was involved. Police have identified the victim as Monica Chavira, 18, of Mission, Kansas.
