One man is fighting for his life following a drive-by shooting in Kansas City, Kansas.

Officers were called to 42nd and Walker around 7 a.m. Sunday morning after reports of shots being fired.

According to police, two Hispanic males in their 20s were standing outside their residence when a man in a white car fired several rounds at them before driving away. One of the Hispanic males sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a bullet and was taken to the hospital. 

Authorities say they are looking for a white 2000 Chevy Malibu that was involved in the crime.

This incident remains under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
