Two injured in shooting outside barbershop in Kansas City, Kansas

Two people have been seriously hurt after a shooting in KCK on Tuesday.

Authorities said the two victims were shot after leaving a barbershop near 18th and Stewart. One victim was shot in the chest while the other victim was shot in the face.

Police said one victim ran to a nearby gas station at 18th and Parallel and the other was able to drive to the area of 18th and Wood Avenue. Both were taken to an area hospital. One has life-threatening injuries and the other is in critical condition.

A person of interest is in custody and police are searching for a man for questioning.

This incident remains under investigation by the KCK Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division, which is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
