Two people charged after reported armed robbery in Overland Park

UPDATE 1:00PM 4/22/2017: Two man have been charged in connection to an armed robbery Friday night in Overland Park, Kansas.

Eric D. Hunter, 21, and Isaac A. Walton, 19, are both charged with aggravated robbery.

ORIGINAL STORY 4/21/2017:

Five people are in custody, including a juvenile, after a reported armed robbery Friday night.

Overland Park police said officers were sent to a parking lot in the 7900 block of West 151st Street.

The victim told officers two men got into his car and one pulled a gun. The victim also said he knew one of the robbers.

Police said the two robbers got out of the victim’s car and into their car. They drove northbound on 69 Highway, but they were spotted by police and arrested.

The arrest and investigation closed the exit ramp from NB US 69 Highway to College Boulevard.

Police said three men, one woman and a juvenile were arrested.

Charges are expected in the case.
