OP City Council to see BluHawk final development plans

BluHawk to show final development plans in OP
Posted

It’s the next step for the BluHawk project in Overland Park.

The final development plans for the restaurants, shopping and multi-use arena are scheduled to be presented at the OP City Council meeting Monday at 7:30 p.m.

The development at 159th and Antioch has drawn mixed reviews, mainly because of traffic concerns brought up by neighbors.

The Price Brothers are in charge of the $649 million project.

Monday, proposals regarding special events, revised preliminary plans and final development plans will be presented.

The special event permit is valid for eight months, and asks for two temporary signs for Shawnee Mission Health in the development.

Right of way proposals will be brought up for the following intersections:

  • 167th Street and Quivira
  • 175th Street and Pflumm
  • 183rd Street and Pflumm
