Overland Park Police are investigating after a reported aggravated assault occurred on Monday night.
According to reports, OP Police responded around 9:15 p.m. to the 7900 block of Grant Street on a call of an aggravated assault.
The victim told police he was approached by a 25 to 30 year-old white male who asked him for directions. Police say, the victim advised that during the conversation the suspect pointed a gun at him.
The victim said he ran from the suspect and as he was running he heard several shots.
The suspect was further described as having a thin build, pale complexion, approximately 5’ 10”, with short hair, and a chin strap beard.
The suspect was driving a gray Dodge Charger looking vehicle, according to police.
Police say no was injured during this incident.
