Mom breaks car window after locking child, keys in car

A mother broke a car window to get her child out of a car after she locked her keys in it.

Overland Park police said a woman had left the Lifetime Fitness gym and put her child in a car and then locked the keys in the car.

The woman and a friend broke the window to get the child out.

According to Johnson County Med-Act, by the time the paramedics arrived, the child was already out of the vehicle.

Paramedics said the child suffered minor injuries.
