Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash happened on K-32 at I-435 in Edwardsville, Kansas.
A tractor-trailer was stopped at a red light on K-32. KHP said a minivan was slowing down and had almost stopped when a box truck hit the back of the minivan.
The van was then pushed under the tractor-trailer.
KHP said two people were taken to an area hospital after being removed from the minivan. One person was taken via ambulance and the other was life-flighted.
The two truck drivers were not injured.
