BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. — Blue Springs police are asking for the public's help locating a missing man.
Police say Dao Yang, 40, walked away from his Blue Springs home between midnight and 1 a.m. Monday. According to a release, Yang has a mentally disability and may not be socially accepting of people.
He is believed to be on foot and was last seen near the 3100 block of SW Shrout Creek Drive.
He was wearing a black heavy coat, blue jeans, blue tennis shoes and carrying a backpack and blue blanket.
Anyone with any information on Yang's whereabouts is asked to call the Blue Springs Police Department dispatch center at 816-228-0151.
