Construction is underway right now for the I-35 and Pleasant Valley Road interchange. According to MoDOT, this project will improve Interstate 35 from I-435 to one mile north of Pleasant Valley Road, the I-35 and Pleasant Valley Road interchange, Church Road, Sobbie Road, Pleasant Valley Road, South Liberty Parkway and US 69.

Below you'll find information from MoDOT in regards to lane closures:

Project Update 7/12/16: Crews will close the northbound and southbound lanes of Church Rd. between Pleasant Valley Rd. and Kaill Rd. from Wednesday, July 13 and continuing through Monday, May 29, 2017.

Project update 4/8/16: SB I-35 traffic has been diverted to the new NB I-35 lanes and bridges, as the NB I-35 is left in its existing alignment. Crews have worked with removing the existing SB I-35 pavement and bridge over Pleasant Valley in the past few weeks. Crews are currently working on the new SB I-35 grading, bridges, walls and pavements. This work take up the next several months. After this work is complete, SB I-35 will be put on new SB I-35 alignment and NB I-35 will be put on new NB I-35 alignment.

Project update 1/19/16: Crews are working on constructing the NB I-35 bridge over Pleasant Valley Road. Once this is complete, SB I-35 traffic will be shifted onto the new NB I-35 alignment temporarily while the new SB I-35 fill, roadway and bridges are built.  After that is completed or near completion, that is when Church Road will be closed (200 days) in front of the Shoal Creek Community Church.  This temporary closure is for a temporary SB I-35 to Pleasant Valley Road ramp.

Project update 9/3/15: Today crews will open the new ramp from Pleasant Valley Road to southbound I-35. They will also close the old ramp. The intersection of Pleasant Valley Road, Church Road and the new ramp will now have traffic signals.
