Police are in a standoff with a person in Claycomo after trying to serve an arrest warrant on Thursday.
Authorities said deputies tried to serve the arrest warrant at a home, but the person wanted refused to come out. The person is believed to be hiding in the house.
The arrest warrant is for fraud and tampering, according to police.
Eight people were evacuated from nearby homes.
