Search ends for suspect in Warsaw man's death

Through a joint fugitive task force, a man who was a suspect in connection to the death of a 40-year-old Warsaw man has been arrested.  

Jemell C. Moore, 24, was found sleeping in the back seat of a car in Platte County. Officers woke him up and arrested him.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a Liberty man who is a suspect in connection to the death of a 40-year-old man.

Jemell C. Moore, 24, is wanted in connection to the death of the 40-year-old Warsaw man. 

Benton County deputies conducted a search at Moore's Liberty home, but he was not found. A no bond warrant was issued.

Deputies are now asking for the public's help in locating him.

On Monday, the Benton County Sheriff's Office was told a 24-year-old woman was brought to Bothwell Hospital with gunshot wounds. 

Pettis County deputies were called to interview the woman at the hospital while Benton County deputies applied for a search warrant for a home in the eastern part of the county. During the search, the body of a 40-year-old man was found. His identity has not been released by officials. 

Missouri State Highway Patrol, Clay County Sheriff's Office and the Liberty Police Department assisted Benton County deputies in the investigation.
