One man died and a woman was seriously injured after they were struck by a vehicle on I-70 in Independence, Missouri.
According to police, two eastbound vehicles were involved in a crash near I-70 and Crysler bridge.
When the man and a woman exited their vehicle to check on the car they collided with, a third vehicle struck them in the east eastbound lane.
The man was killed in the crash. The woman was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
