Kevin Moore of Independence has been arrested on two counts of possession of child pornography videos, the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control announced Friday morning.
Moore's arrest is reportedly the culmination of a lengthy online investigation by members of the Division of Drug and Crime Control's Digital Forensics Investigation Unit. Investigators said they executed a search warrant on Moore's property Thursday and discovered child pornography on the premises.
Moore, 33, was then arrested and transported to the Independence Police Department, where he is being held on a $100,000 bond.
Possession of child pornography videos is a class B felony in the state of Missouri. If found guilty in court, Moore could face a penalty of up to 15 years in prison.
