It can be tough to find an organ donor, especially with a long waiting list. A woman in Independence has now taken matters into her own hands.
On the back window of her car, she has put on an advertisement reading, “Husband needs a kidney. Type “O” blood. Call 660-287-4864.”

No word yet if the driver was from Independence or just driving through. The car was spotted near the Independence Center on Sunday afternoon.
