Three people have been arrested and face multiple criminal charges after an officer from the Independence Police Department was injured during a police pursuit with a stolen vehicle.
The suspects have not yet been identified. The injured officer was treated at a local hospital and has since been released.
The vehicle that struck the officer's car was an "uninvolved" vehicle with three people inside. They were not injured.
The stolen car was later found in KCMO.
