Knob Noster police investigate school employee

The Knob Noster Police Department is investigating a report from Knob Noster High School about a staff member possibly having inappropriate contact with more than one student.

According to a news release from the Knob Noster School District, it received a report Tuesday, May 17, of inappropriate communications between an employee and a student.

After an investigation, the employee was terminated on Wednesday, May 18.

The Knob Noster Police Department said in a news release it received a call on May 18 from Knob Noster High School about a staff member possibly having inappropriate contact with more than one student.

Knob Noster police said they are looking for other possible victims.

According to the news release, the Knob Noster School District will continue to cooperate with law enforcement and provide support for students throughout the process.

Knob Noster police, the Knob Noster R-VIII School District, DSS/Children’s Division and members of the Missouri Highway Patrol are investigating the situation.
