UPDATE | Oak Grove High School has been cleared following a reported bomb threat early Wednesday afternoon.
Assistant Superintendent Linda Williams said police canines conducted a search of the area and all school buildings were searched following an email stating there was an explosive device on campus.
Police determined the threat lacked credibility.
Williams said at 1:45 p.m. the staff was given the all clear to resume normal business.

Oak Grove High School is on lockdown after officials said they received information about an alleged explosive device.
Oak Grove School District Assistant Superintendent Linda Williams says at around noon school officials received an email with info about an alleged explosive device in the Oak Grove High School gym.
Students were evacuated to the performing arts center, which is on the same campus.
Oak grove police and the Jackson County Sheriff's Department are at the high school and assessing the threat.
Parents were notified of the threat via phone message around 12:30 p.m.
