Raytown police are asking citizens for tips after a woman says she was assaulted while walking to work.
Around 6:25 a.m., police were called to the 6200 block of Blue Ridge Boulevard about an assault.
The woman told police that a white man in his 40s with a blondish-brown ponytail and a cowboy hat grabbed her. She said the man was wearing a gray jacket, green shirt and appeared dirty.
The woman told police she noticed the man had been in that area the past two days.
The woman was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
