The Johnson County Sheriff's Office has issued an Endangered SILVER Advisory for a missing person incident that occurred in Warrensburg, Missouri, on Thursday morning.
Authorities said 80-year-old Janice Smith was last seen about 8 a.m. Thursday at her residence in Johnson County, Missouri. She has severe dementia and was supposed to be en route to her friend’s house near Kingsville, Missouri, but may have thought she had a hair appointment near Kingsville, Missouri.
Smith is described as a white female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with gray hair, blue eyes and glasses. She drives a Maroon 1996 Chevrolet Geo Tracker bearing Missouri plates AG9M9J.
Anyone who sees Smith or her vehicle or who has any information should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Johnson County Sheriff's Office at 660-747-6469.
