Officials at Fort Riley, Kansas are asking for the public's help searching for a missing soldier.
According to a release from the 1st Infantry Division and Fort Riley, Staff Sgt. Garret Michael Swift was last in contact with his unit April 18 at 9 p.m.
The release says Swift is only being sought to ensure his welfare.
Swift is 37 years old and drives a 2008 Hyundai Sant Fe with license number HAV 507.
Swift is a fire support specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Inf. Div.
