Officials found an inmate who escaped from the Lansing Correctional Facility.
At 8:30 a.m. Friday, minimum custody inmate James Stewart II was seen leaving the facility in a white 2008 Chevy Impala with a Kansas license plate 16520.
The Kansas Department of Corrections said Stewart was apprehended around 10:54 a.m. in Topeka.
The department worked with state and local law enforcement to locate Stewart.
