Officials are investigating a structure fire that destroyed a home six miles west of Holton, Kansas, shortly before 9 a.m. Sunday morning.
The Holton, PBPN Fire Departments, Jackson County EMS and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene at 21885 J. Road after reports of a house fire.
Upon arrival, the residence was engulfed in flames. The house was occupied at the time of the fire, however, all occupants were able to escape the fire without injury.
The structure was a complete loss. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
