The abducted child is Carlie Trent. She is 9 years old, 4'8", 75 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. Carlie was last seen wearing a black and gray tank top and blue jeans.
The suspect is Gary L. Simpson, 57, who was last seen wearing a brown cap, a dark colored shirt and jeans.
They may be traveling in a white 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 van with TN license plate 173GPS. The van has a dark stripe down the middle with light gold running boards and the paint is chipping off the hood.
Information obtained on Tuesday, May 10 indicates the subjects were possibly sighted in the Otterville, Missouri area on Monday, May 9.
Authorities received a report Tuesday of a possible sighting of the suspect vehicle in Clifton City. The Missouri Highway Patrol said after investigation that van did not match the description.
