UPDATE 12/15: Seth Davis, 7, was located safe in Brownsville, Texas. Police say he is now in the custody of the Brownsville Missing Persons Unit to be reunited with his mother.

-----------

Police were searching for a missing 7-year-old boy from Chillicothe after his father didn’t return him to his mother on December 4.

Seth Davis, 7, was last seen with his father, Anthony D. Davis, 32, at a Wal-Mart in Chillicothe on December 2.

Chillicothe is about two hours northeast of Kansas City.

According to police, Davis was supposed to return Seth to his mother on December 4, but they never showed up. As a response, the Gallatin Police Department issued an endangered person advisory for Seth.

Police tracked Davis’ cellphone to Washington, Missouri, on December 6 and 7.

Seth is 4 feet tall with a medium build, brown hair and blue eyes.

Davis is 5-foot 11-inches tall with a light build, brown hair and hazel eyes. Officials say Davis has been diagnosed with a mental health disorder and is believed to be off his medications.

Gallatin police said Davis' pickup truck was found in Washington, Missouri. Davis and Seth still haven't been found.

If you have any information about their whereabouts, please call 911 or the Gallatin Police Department at 660-663-9512.
