KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police in Sedalia, Missouri are investigating a threat made to Smith-Cotton High School over social media, according to a post on the Sedalia School District's Facebook page.
The district said at this point investigators have found nothing to validate the post.
Sedalia Police Department and Pettis County Sheriff’s Office are prepared to "support" the school on Thursday, according to the district's post.
The district also told families to follow their normal routines on Thursday.
