SHAWNEE, Kan. -- A suspect was taken into custody following a report of an armed robbery in Shawnee.
Around 10:50 p.m. Monday, Shawnee police responded to Mr. G's Liquor Store at 7635 Quivira Road to investigate an armed robbery.
They say no shots were fired and no one was hurt.
The robber left before police got there.
Early Tuesday morning, police released new information saying that a suspect is in custody.
