KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Chiefs spotlight shines on two unlikely pass-catchers Monday, en route to the team’s dominant 34-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Offensive lineman Eric Fisher and fullback Anthony Sherman were the latest Chiefs to flash the hands, securing critical touchdowns for Kansas City.

“He's always bragging about how good his hands are,” Chiefs Head coach Andy Reid said about Fisher following the team’s franchise-record 12th consecutive win. “I was a little nervous when we had to jump but he did a nice job."

Fisher’s two-yard touchdown grab is the first touchdown catch for a number one overall draft pick since Keyshawn Johnson in 1996.

Not to be outdone, Sherman’s five-yard score came on an underhand pass from Patrick Mahomes that looked straight out of a video game.

“Guys that behind the scene do well and do their job to their best ability,” wide receiver Sammy Watkins said of the unlikely pairing. “They definitely got rewarded tonight and that's something special."

Showing versatility and flexibility on offense, Mahomes connected with 11 different receivers on passes Monday night. The reigning Super Bowl MVP finished with 385 passing yards, four passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown.
