The Kansas City Royals now have the bling to prove they're World Series champions. The Royals presented players with their 2015 World Series Championship rings Tuesday before facing the New York Mets.
“Today is a special celebration for the entire Royals organization and our fans as we honor the 2015 Kansas City Royals with the presentation of their World Series Championship rings,” Royals president Dan Glass said in a news release. “These brilliant rings embody the sacrifices and contributions made by the entire Royals organization to become the 2015 World Series Champions. It is an honor to present this highest reward to our players, coaches and staff members.”

According to the news release from Jostens, the ring includes:
- 2.5 carats of diamonds
- 3.5 carats of genuine princess-cut sapphires
- 3.5 carats of genuine custom-cut sapphires
The ring top features the KC logo with the words “World Champions” surrounding the top and bottom edges of the ring. One side of the ring features a player’s name atop an image of Kauffman Stadium. The other side features the year 2015 and a silhouette of the World Series trophy.
