KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Royals announced their 2018 regular season schedule.
Opening Day will be March 29 with a matchup against the Chicago White Sox. This kicks off the season for the third time in four years with a home game.
This year’s season gets an early start because MLB has added four more off days to the schedule.
The Royals will play 20 Interleague games over eight series, with four at home and four on the road, all against the National League Central.
The "I-70 rivalry" against St. Louis will take place at Busch Stadium from May 21-23 and at home on August 10-12.
Game times will be announced at a later date.
