Have Royal fans gotten spoiled after the team's record success? The KC fateful are used to seeing their "Boys in Blue" create some pretty special moments over the past few seasons.
Sunday, fans openly showed their frustrations with reliever Joakim Soria, after he gave up a 406 foot, 2 run homer to the Tigers Justin Upton. The center field blast put Detroit ahead in the 8th inning 6-5, after the Royals were able to pull off a miraculous 7th inning, scoring four runs to take the lead.
It's tough pitching everyday in the big leagues, but Soria's response to the Kauffman boos, were nothing short of pure professionalism.
