KState's John Currie is heading to the University of Tennessee to become the next athletics director, according to ESPN.
Tennessee is set to announce John Currie's hiring as athletic director later Tuesday. Currie, 45, has been at Kansas State since 2009.

Currie, 45, joined KState as athletic director in May 2009.
Last year, KState signed Currie to a two year contract extension through the 2022 academic year.
Currie graduated from Wake Forest University and the University of Tennessee.
