KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The University of Kansas men's basketball team continued celebrating their NCAA Championship victory at Kauffman Stadium for the Kansas City Royals' Opening Day.
Members of the team were honored during the bottom of the fifth inning and received an ovation from the crowd.
The team also enjoyed the game inside a private suite.
Celebrations will continue at 2 p.m. Sunday in Lawrence during a parade to celebrate the team's win.
