History of the Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship in KC

Kansas City has hosted the championship more times than any other city! Fifteen times to be exact!

• 2010
• 2011
• 2012
• 2013
• 2014
• 2015
• 2016

Dallas and Oklahoma City have also hosted the event in the past. But, Kansas City hosted the first championship in 1997 at Kemper Arena.

This year marks the 8th year the event will be held at the Sprint Center and they will continue hosting through at least 2020.
