Players start to turn the corner in final weeks

KANSAS CITY, Mo- Another great week of high school football in the metro. Starting at LincoIn Prep. In the first quarter, Lincoln with the ball, quarterback Howard Brown takes the ball himself, finds the hole. That puts Lincoln up 6-0. 

 

The Eagles answer back. Josh McConnell avoids two tackles and runs it into the endzone. That plus the two point conversion makes it 8-6 Summit Christian. 

Eagles win 43-27. 

 

Blue Valley north hosting St. James Academy. 3rd quarter, The St. James Academy defense creating turnovers. It's Jake Holton on the interception. 

That would set up a Brady Feldman to Hudson Manning 36 yard touchdown pass for the Thunder on a fourth and 12. Great play by St. James Academy.

 

The Mustangs retaliate. It's Graham Mertz on the two yard touchdown pass to Amauri Pesek.

 

Blue Valley North cruises 61-28. 

 

Ray Pec hosting Lee's Summit West Titans down early, but Ben Kobel finds Cade Clemons on this 64 yard touchdown strike to get the Titans on the board. 

The Panthers answer back. It's Brandon Rayos who scores from a yard out. That ties the game at 14.

Lee's Summit West wins 41-23.

 

Raytown taking on North Kansas City. 

North Kansas City takes the lead here as C.J. Price runs it in. 28-21 North KC. 

 

Later, Joe Campbell dives over the top and ties it.
