KANSAS CITY, Mo. — College hoops are on the horizon.

The AP released its annual preseason Top 25 rankings Monday, and Bill Self’s squad is planted firmly in the top 10.

The University of Kansas Jayhawks rank sixth on the list, receiving 1,121 poll points.

KU opens its season in Fort Meyer, Florida, for a Thanksgiving showdown versus the No. 1 ranked Gonzaga.
