KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Next week’s Sunflower Showdown at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kansas, has been pushed back a day and will no longer air on ESPN or ESPN2.
The Wildcats men’s basketball team announced Tuesday that the 295th meeting against the Jayhawks has been moved to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, and will air on ESPN+.
K-State (5-15, 1-10 Big 12) hosts No. 13 Texas (11-5, 5-4 Big 12) at 7 p.m. Tuesday night in Manhattan.
KU (13-7, 7-5 Big 12), which fell out of The Associated Press top-25 poll for the first time in 12 years this week, plays Iowa State twice this week — Thursday at Allen Fieldhouse and Saturday at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa.
The Jayhawks beat the Wildcats 74-51 in a Feb. 2 meeting in Lawrence.
