3:15 p.m. | Tuesday was the first padded practice of Chiefs training camp.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and players said it was good to be back in pads.

1:40 p.m. | The Chiefs defense seems to be dominating at training camp.

The Chiefs Twitter account posted a compilation video of the best defensive plays during Tuesday's training camp practice. The video includes an interception by rookie linebacker Nick Bolton, a former MU player. This was Bolton's second interception of training camp.

11:30 a.m. | Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill missed Tuesday's training camp practice due to some knee tendonitis.

10:50 a.m. | NFL Rookie and former MU linebacker Nick Bolton appears to be having another good practice with the Chiefs.

Monday he also scored an interception.

According to KSHB 41 Sports producer Nick Jacobs, Bolton is not the only player having a good day.

He said guard Joe Thuney has been making plays.

10:10 a.m. | The Chiefs are preparing for any situation during the season.

KSHB 41 Sports Director Mick Shaffer tweeted that the Chiefs during training camp practice Tuesday are doing 9-on-7 drills in the case that there are six players with red cards during a single game.

9:40 a.m. | Tuesday's Chiefs training camp practice is the first day the team will be wearing pads.

Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill seems to be excited about the first day of padded practice.

Frank Clark, defensive end, agreed with Hill's excitement for the first padded practice and said it was his favorite day.

9:15 a.m. | Kansas City Chiefs training camp continues Tuesday with the sixth day of full-team practice.

On Monday, safety Juan Thornhill left practice early with a groin injury, and the offense "had an off day," according to Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.
