KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Missouri, Kansas and Kansas State announced their pairings for the 2021 SEC/Big 12 Challenge, which is slated for late January.

All 10 games will air Jan. 30 on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU, but final determinations for tipoff times and channels will be decided at a later date.

For the Tigers, who will host TCU at Mizzou Arena, the contest marks only the second home game in the eight years of the SEC/Big Challenge.

The Wildcats also drew a home game and will face Texas A&M, while the Jayhawks will travel to Tennessee.

Mizzou is 1-2 in SEC/Big 12 Challenge history and 4-1 all-time versus TCU, but the Tigers and Horned Frogs haven’t played since 1952.

The Tigers beat West Virginia during the inaugural 2013-14 SEC/Big Challenge then lost at Oklahoma the next year.

MU didn’t take part in the next four SEC/Big Challenges before a loss last January to West Virginia in the program’s return to the event.

K-State is 3-4 all-time in the SEC/Big Challenge, including a 2019 loss against the Aggies on the road.

The Wildcats have never lost a home game against Texas A&M in 11 prior meetings, including an 8-0 record at Bramlage Coliseum.

Finally, KU is 4-1 all-time against Tennessee, including a win last season at Allen Fieldhouse, and 5-2 all-time in the SEC/Big Challenge.

The only other time the Jayhawks have played in Knoxville was a January 2010 meeting when top-ranked KU lost to the 16th-ranked Volunteers.

The Big 12 has won four of the previous seven Challenges and boasts a 40-30 record overall. The SEC’s only win came in 2017-18, while the conferences split in 2016-17 as well as last season.
