KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson are just hours away from facing off as both quarterbacks prepare to kick off the 2020 National Football League season.
However, on Thursday Mahomes and Watson decided to team up to give back to healthcare workers who've been working on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Both quarterbacks had lunch delivered to workers in opposite cities of their teams.
Mahomes sent Postmates to Taub Hospital in Houston through his 15 and the Mahomies foundation.
Meanwhile in Kansas City, workers at Truman Medical Center enjoyed lunch on Watson.
